Stress and Chiropractic Care
Did you know that many people use chiropractic care as a stress reliever? Obviously, stress can be caused by numerous things. For most people, it revolves around three specific areas: work, family (kids!), or money. For some, it’s all three and then some! When we worry or
work too excessively, tension is built up in the spine. This is not only bad for the spine, but it is also bad for the heart, digestion, metabolism, and the immune system. The bottom line is…stress is simply bad for the body and mind.
Stress often takes up physical space along the spine. Tension builds and builds, and eventually results in pain in various parts of the body. One of the effects of chronic stress is muscle tension and contraction, which can lead to uneven pressure on the skeleton, which in turn leads to subluxations. Chiropractic adjustments help ease muscle tension, which in turn eases the stress on certain parts of the skeleton and helps ease subluxations.
Achieving a balanced spine is a crucial element of managing personal stress. When the spine is aligned, the central nervous system is unblocked and can function effectively. This means that your mind can think clearly, messages are sent and received with precision, and
the mental stress placed on you is reduced. Nutrition is also a crucial component of stress management, which is why we also offer a wide range of supplements and workshops to empower the 100% family and help you to manage stress.
While even one chiropractic session can certainly do your body some good, the best course of action is to go regularly. Seeing a chiropractor once a week, once every two weeks, or even once a month can eliminate stress and help keep it under control. Call us at Empowered Chiropractic Health & Wellness Center today to set up a health evaluation and learn how Dr. Mahsa can immediately help you reduce the physical manifestations of your stressful life.

The Power of Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic affects every part of our body. Why? Because our nervous system controls all aspects of our being, from proper organ function to the sensation of pain. So it only makes sense that we will begin to feel pain, discomfort, or notice various symptoms when our nervous system isn’t functioning correctly. Chiropractic does not rely on harsh medication or invasive surgery to treat health-related ailments, instead, it focuses on the nervous system — correcting nerve flow blockages in the spine and other areas of the body, to allow the body’s powerful natural healing power to flourish, flow, and repair itself naturally.

Beautiful, clean, and spacious. The place just feels good to be in. Dr. Mahsa is a top-quality chiropractor (and person) who deeply cares about her clients and their results. She is knowledgeable on many levels and provides a ‘mamma bear’ experience that is both comforting and caring. I feel that I am in good hands while here. I will recommend this place. P.S. The music she plays is awesome!
Dr. Mahsa is the kind of person you want to refer all your friends to. She treated my chronic back pain using a combination of techniques that was way more effective than anyone I had seen before. She has treated me, and now both my sons, for over two years. The office staff is great too. Friendly and professional and very welcoming. I always leave here feeling good.
Dr. Mahsa has been wonderful for my family and I since day one. I was referred to her by a close friend and was glad I went to see her. I’m at the gym at least 5 days a week and my back pain was interfering with my workouts and sleep. She completed an assessment and I was back on my feet in no time. Since I had such a great experience with her I brought my entire family in and they’ve been feeling great with her adjustments as well. It’s difficult to know who to go to when there are so many different chiropractors out there. I’m known to research for the “best” out there and I believe I’ve found it! I recommend you go see her.
Dr Mahsa is amazing Had a great experience here. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. This is also a very nice chiropractic office very large and filled with lots of high tech devices. She did a great job with a fully completed assessment on my body and was able to relieve lower back pain. Enjoyed all the different machines that were used to help make me feel better and relieve and prevent any future pain.
Dr. Mahsa immediately put me on an aggressive therapy and now I’m back on my training and have actually improved my time per mile. Dr. Mahsa and her staff are friendly, professional and so DAMN good at what they do. She’s like a family to us.
